When you try to sign up or connect your Outlook email account to Riffle, Microsoft might ask for admin approval. This happens when your company requires an IT admin to approve new apps before Riffle can access your Microsoft/Outlook account.

Below you will find what to do.

Create your account & start the connection

  1. Press Continue and connect with Outlook

  2. You'll be redirected to Microsoft's sign-in page

  3. Enter your work email and press "next"

What the "Need Admin Approval" message means

⚠️ Your organization requires admin approval for all apps.

Approval Required

Your Microsoft admin blocks user consent to third-party apps unless they (the Admin) explicitly approve them.

3: Contact your IT admin

Contact your IT admin and let them know you're trying to connect Riffle, including a screenshot of what you saw, just as above.

Let your admin know that RiffleCM is a Microsoft-verified partner app, and share the Riffle Microsoft Admin Setup Guide to help them enable Outlook connections.

If you (or your admin) has any further issues with Outlook or Microsoft, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] for assistance.
