In just a few minutes, you’ll have your account ready, your first ITBs (invite-to-bids) in your shared Project Inbox, your team connected, and your first opportunity ready to manage.
1️⃣ First, check your Project Inbox:
Once you’re set up, your ITBs will appear in the shared Project Inbox section of Riffle. This is your hub for all potential projects your team may choose to work on. Riffle monitors inboxes on an ongoing basis to automatically add ITBs to the Project Inbox. This ongoing scan is critical for collaboration and to help your team avoid any scenarios where 2 estimators may be bidding the same job—yikes!
⚠️ If you notice bid invites are missing from your Project Inbox upon signing up—but you know they are in your email—that's ok; Riffle only scans a limited amount of your emails when you sign up. It’s easy to get missing ITBs into Riffle by forwarding them to [email protected]
2️⃣ Invite your team!
Once your Project Inbox upon looks good, you can add project mangers, estimators, admins—anyone and everyone on your team to make collaboration seamless. Riffle will automatically monitor & add ITBs from each member who joins your workspace (however, team member can opt out of inbox connections).
3️⃣ Verify your company details & preferences
Head over the to the Settings → Project Preferences and Settings → Company Profile sections to get familiar with what powers Riffle: all the preferences you set during onboarding (and more!). Double-checking these are correct will ensure your incoming ITBs are correctly scored by their priority.
⚠️ If you noticed bid invites were missing from your Project Inbox upon signing up, this could also be due to your company's use of a dedicated email address for ITB distribution lists. Check out How to connect additional inboxes to your Riffle workspace
4️⃣ Accept your first project
Get familiar with Riffle's Opportunity Workflow by accepting your first project ITB, watching it automatically move to the Opportunities section, and checking out the available workflow steps on your subcontracting-focused bidboard!
