Where to find your tasks
The Tasks Panel
The Tasks panel is accessible from every page in Riffle by pressing the Tasks button in the top-right corner of the page.
The panel shows all tasks relevant to you, organized across three tabs:
My Urgent Tasks: tasks assigned to you that are marked urgent, with overdue items flagged at the top.
All of My Tasks: every task assigned to you, regardless of urgency.
Assigned to Others: tasks you've created and assigned to teammates.
The Dashboard
Your tasks can be found in two places on the dashboard
What Needs Your Attention
You can find your tasks that are overdue or need immediate action, as well as tasks you've assigned to your coworkers.

Elements of a Task

đĄ Tip: you can create a general task; there is no requirement for tasks to be connected to a project in RiffleCM.

Actions You Can Take on Tasks Assigned to You
When tasks are assigned to you, you can:
Mark Complete: removes the task from the panel immediately
Use this when the work is done.
Mark as Read: removes the highlighted styling from the task card but leaves it in the panel.
This also notifies the assigner you have seen this task.
Use this to acknowledge a task you've seen but haven't completed yet.
View Project (if applicable)
Use this to go directly the project's Overview page; note, tasks do not have to be associated to a project, so you may not see this button.
Actions You Can Take on Tasks You Assigned to Others
For tasks you've assigned to others, you can:
View Project (if applicable)
Use this to go directly the project's Overview page, if you associated the task to a project.
Send Reminder
Use this to nudge your teammate if a task is becoming stale.
