Working inside a project: details, activity, estimates & documents.

Once we fina an ITB (Invitation to Bid) or you manually add one, Riffle creates a project record where your team can view & manage every detail of that project's lifecycle, all in one place.

Each project includes four main tabs: Overview, Estimate, Documents (coming soon!), and Activity), all designed to help you stay aligned with your team. Think of it like a "hub," where you’ll track your progress, keep project files together, and see important updates from the GC.

The project “hub” at a glance

Every project opens to the Overview tab first. From there, you can easily switch between tabs to view or update key information. Any changes you make, like update the project details or scheduling, are immediately viewable by the rest of your team once saved, so you never have to worry a teammate taking action on outdated information.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab is your project’s home base. It shows all key project information— like due dates, location, trade needs, contact information, the architect, current status in Riffle, and much more. You can also make quick updates here, such as editing the project name, adjusting scheduling details—and if your company has multiple offices, you can edit the office Riffle automatically assigned to the project, based on it’s proximity.

Estimate Tab

The Estimate tab is where you record and review your project pricing information. For this release, Riffle lets you enter the data you’ve created elsewhere (such as total value, labor cost, or markup). This tab keeps all estimate information connected directly to the project for easy access.

Documents Tab (coming soon!)

The Documents tab is your central place to upload and organize all project-related files — drawings, specifications, addenda, or correspondence. You can rename, reorder, or remove files as needed, and everything saves automatically.

Activity Tab

The Activity tab provides a running feed of all updates and messages tied to the project. It automatically pulls in addendums, clarifications, and other messages from the GC related to the original ITB. You don’t need to post or reply here — it’s a live record of updates & external communication so your team can stay informed.

Why this project “hub” matters

It brings your entire team together around the same set of information. Everyone can see the same project details, estimate details, documents, and updates—making it easier to stay coordinated and confident at every stage of the bid process.

• Keep your data organized in one shared place.

• Eliminate guesswork about which version or file is current.

• Stay aligned with real-time updates from your GC.

Whether you’re an business owner, estimator, project manager, or admin, the Project hub gives you a clear, unified view of every active job.
